Draft Community Guidelines
Notice: A preliminary working draft, not legal advice. Consult a lawyer before publishing.
Why we're here
To help women understand what it's like to work at each company. We encourage honest sharing, including about discrimination, pay gaps and harassment, within our community guidelines.
What to share
- An honest account of your work experience, positive or negative.
- Workplace conduct, policies, culture and decision-making.
- Facts you know, such as "There are no women in leadership" or "Pay differs between departments".
- Factual accounts of discrimination, sexual harassment or unfair treatment, without personal disparagement.
What not to post
- Obscenity, threats of violence or discriminatory language toward a person or group.
- False reviews or reviews that do not reflect the writer's own experience.
- Names of non-senior employees in a negative context.
- Confidential information, such as trade secrets, internal data or identifying client details.
- Advertising and irrelevant links.
- Extensive quotations from emails or documents. Write in your own words.
How to write a useful review
Describe what happened and how it affected you. Specific examples, such as "There are no women in leadership", help more than general statements like "They're terrible".
Content review and enforcement
- Every review undergoes initial automated or manual screening.
- Any user can report content they believe violates the rules.
- Every report is read by a person. There is no committed response time at this stage.
- A first violation leads to a warning. Repeated violations lead to account restrictions or suspension.
Company inquiries
The platform applies its rules neutrally to company inquiries. It does not resolve factual disputes, as set out in the Terms of Use.
Reporting content
Any user, including a company representative, can report a rule violation to [report email address]. The team will review it and act in accordance with the law and any valid order.
