About WorkForHer
A site born of experiences that could have been prevented.
I founded WorkForHer after a few very bad workplace experiences. They could have been prevented only if I had had more insight beforehand: how women are really treated there, what happens when someone complains, and what men in the same role are paid. That knowledge existed, with the women who worked there before me. There was simply no way for it to reach me. So I decided to change that, for the rest of my career and for yours. And so that workplaces know they cannot treat us however they like and count on our silence out of fear. Come be part of the change.
So the site does one thing: it collects women's experiences of workplaces, anonymously, on the same questions for every company, and shows them to anyone who has to decide. No account to read, no name on a review, and no companies in the picture.
Funding: none. The site runs on no outside budget, with no business model, no subscriptions and no money from companies. A company cannot pay to appear differently, and nobody pays to read. It is a community project, not a registered charity.
