How your privacy works

Short answers to the questions worth asking before sharing.

What is shown publicly?
The text you wrote, the ratings you gave, the department if you chose to name it, and the month and year of publication. No name, no email, no exact date and no job title.
Is my email linked to the review?
Not directly. The review is stored with a random key and no field that points to the account. What the account does record is that you reviewed a given company in a given month, to enforce one review per year. When a company has few reviews, someone with database access could infer from that record who wrote which. That is why the record holds a month and not a moment, the thank-you email names no company, and one person has database access.
Who can access stored information, and why?
Only the site's operator, and only for held reviews and reports. The site has no way to match a review to an email; the inference described above is the limit, and it is deliberately narrow.
How do I edit or delete?
From the browser you wrote in: it holds the only key to the review. From another device, or after clearing browsing data, we cannot tell the review is yours, and that is deliberate. Deleting removes the review from the site and from every calculation.
What does screening check?
Contact details, links, copies and readers' reports. Not whether what you wrote is true, and not who you are.
What are the limits?
Your name is not shown, but details you write yourself can identify you in a small workplace. A court can order disclosure of what we hold, and what we hold is deliberately little.

For anything else: the help and contact page. To report a review: the report button beside it. Everything is read by a person. Help and contact
